People are amazed, astounded, astonished, overwhelmed by Jesus
- ἐξίστημι (ex-is'-tay-mee) - [prepositional prefix ek meaning out of, from, etc., and ἵστημι (his'-tay-mee) - to cause or make to stand, to place, put, set] - so to throw out of position, displace
  - Mt 12:22-23; Mk 6:49-51; Lk 8:54-56
  - Not in Jn’s Gospel
- In other words, “I thought I knew where things stood, but now I’m thrown off, my mind is blown.”
- Jesus’ family thought His mind was “blown” or gone.
  - Mk 3:20-21 - “out of his mind”
- Paul says he may be out of his mind
  - 2 Cor 5:13-15

- I’m dead! In baptism I’m joined to the death and resurrection of Jesus
- Baptised on April 1! haha
